Version 1.22

Postby Janis Legzdinsh » 29 Oct 2006 22:16

Version 1.22 has been released. This version adds support for PK3 files, including as a replacement for WAD files, support for more features of MAPINFO, ANIMDEFS and SNDSEQ scripts. The VavoomC compiler has been mostly rewritten tha allowed me to add some optimisations to the code. And of course many other small fixes and improvements.

Janis, thanks a lot for that! :) A've waited for that for over 2 weeks, and i got it. It will help a lot me with my mods! :) But there is one question: does it includes new, advanced particle engine, or not? :?:

Nice work as always janiz. However, the high resolution textures and patches dont show up anymore. I have had those in the same directory in the last version of Vavoom?

Janis, I beg you to add allow-cheats-in-network-game option at once!

NO! Never cheats in multiplayer! Don't make that, please! :o
I like Vavoom partialy for that, it has no cheats in multiplayer! Let it be for other ports, but not for Vavoom!

Crimson Wizard! I'm sorry, but.. Are you a cheater? Do you realy need that?

Alex, I need these FOR TESTING OUR MULTIPLAYER MOD!!! :!: :!: :!:

(AFAIK that is the primary reason developers add cheats in their games)

I'm having some troubles with MAP02 of Dark Realms, plus I feel the MUS files' drum tracks are being bumped to 0:00 timestamp. More info here:
