1. it's pretty hard to use the map command in console because numbers are hard to guess. There are many "empty" numbers which don't have a corresponding map. In some cases maps with higher numbers belong to earlier hubs.

I believe the maps in the original game are numbered this way

I just tried checking in Doomsday. Using the "listmaps" command, it shows maps map01-map06, map08-map13, map21-map28, and map30-map40. However, Doomsday then internally renumbers the maps so when you warp, the maps are numbered from 01 to 30 (

Yes, this bug was introduced when I added the music definitions for Hexen's Deathkings expansion, it seems some of the map numbers overlap with the original map numbers and caused this mess, they have been removed now and this is fixed.
