1. Open the console
2. Type map map28
3. Type map map29

You'll be thrown into the console, and after a split-second the game will crash to desktop. It doesn't matter if I start a game first, or type in co

Can't reproduce on 32bits.
Though map29 doesn't load a map for me, it simply drops back to default screen.

Did you check ~/.vavoom ?

Yes, I found out the problem, Hexen's MAP28 has some rotating polyobjects that activate since the map begining, this causes the game to keep updating the sound sequences for the polyobjects, so when changing to a map that doesn't exists, the client (playe
