Version 1.17

Postby Janis Legzdinsh » 05 Apr 2005 13:22

Version 1.17 is out now. This version supports most of the Boom level editing features and many other line specials are now available. There's also new OpenGL driver for Linux that should fix problems with mouse. Saving of a cooperative game is also implemented (but I couldn't test it). And of course usual bug fixes and improvements.

I hope for next version I will update model packs since current ones are getting old.

Nice work Janis! I don't know why, but this version runs smoother than older versions in my computer, I like it a lot!

It would be nice to see some new models for Vavoom :D .

EDIT: It would be cool to have a BOOM stuff test level, does someone know any good ones?

Try original Boom test levels from Team TNT website.

I actually fixed DeHackEd support. It compiles fine, but I didn't tried to run it.

v1.17 Linux Compile errors

Postby henryz » 07 Apr 2005 16:23

v1.17 complains that it can't find alleggl.h (output attached below). I'm building with OpenAL (v0.7)/Allegro (v4.1.18). Can't find this header in either package or in the new Allegro 4.20 beta. Is this part of an Allegro add-on or win32 only package? Help!

You need AllegroGL from allegrogl.sourceforge.net
